Ok so I have seen the Pulse Smartpen in my local target a few times. I wasn’t sure if it was one of those gadgets that would make my life easier or just be a pain in the ass and a waste of money. So I decided in the store to read some reviews, I came across Kathleen Meets The Internet , She actually wrote a bunch on this product both her first impressions and after using it for a little while. She gave it a pretty good review, plus she is a student so it was the exact same usage. So I decided to give it a try, I figured if I hated it I could just bring it back.

I bought a nice digital recorder which works great for straight lecture classes where I can type the notes out. But in Geography she advised against laptops, probably because it requires more little drawings which can’t really be done unless you ahve a tablet PC or a Tablet MAC [looking at you JOBS]

So far so good! I didn’t charge it all the way the night before I guess when I close my laptop it allows a little bit of power to be pulled but not very much So it died half-way through class, can’t blame the product. When I connected it to my laptop, it worked perfectly! Recording the class and giving me an exact digital copy of my notes! It was almost like I scanned my notes in! After class and during Computer Illustration I allowed it to charge and finished off my notes. I do which there was a way to do just note mode. If I am working on my notes in another class, I don’t like it recording that lecture.
