Week 15 // Too Close For Comfort!

Week 15 // Too Close For Comfort!

Week 15 was too close for comfort!  I made two almost fatal flaws this last week which almost knocked me out of the play offs!  1. I Sat Hines Ward and Started Robert Meachem.  I thought the Saint would light up that Cowboys secondary, which didn’t happen!  Meachem only managed 4 point for the whole game, as the Cowboys handed the Saints their first lose.  Hines Ward racked up 12 points.   2.  I sat Mike Sims-Walker and started Hakeem Nicks.  Wouldn’t have been a bad move except Nicks got hurt in the 2 Quarter after racking up 66 yards and I was left watching the Giants Defense  make my opponent’s score teeter back and forth between 110 and 109!  Eventually with 4 minutes left Washington managed to get over the 300 yard mark which brought him down to 109.  That led to the tie breaker which was yardage, I won that by about 130 yards.  Mike Sims-Walker also racked up 12 points.

So this is it Week 16.

Andre Johnson Was A Rockstar!

Andre Johnson Was A Rockstar!

I ended the regular season 10-4 which was good enough to win my division and earn play off birth.  I didn’t finish very strong!  All 3 weeks I had a player injury really mess me up even causing me to lose 2 games!  Week 12, Kurt Warner woke up with a sore neck!?!  And didn’t play!  Week13. Deangelo Williams didn’t play because of an injury.  Both weeks I overslept and didn’t catch the decisions to sit them, which caused me to lose!

On to week 15, I have a tough decision do I start Kurt Warner against Detroit or Matt Schaub against St. Louis?  Warner had that pathetic performance last night throwing 2 int and 2 fumble only netting 1 fantasy point.  My running back situation got a little complex, I am going to sit Deangelo Williams who is up against the Minnesota Vikings, which are descent against the run.  Kevin Smith is out for the season!  Jamaal Charles has been a huge late season pick up!  I am going to bring back Beanie Wells, who seems to be the most consistent back for Arizona.

We will see if I can pull out the win and advance to the championship!

Just Eat The Apple Hank

Just Eat The Apple Hank

I just finished season 3 of Californication and WOW!  Now this may sound lame, but I have a little bit of an attachment to this show, mainly because before I watch an episode someone [muffin], told me I reminder of the main character Hank Moody.  A few people have reaffirmed this, and  I wasn’t sure what to think about it, because all I knew about the the show prior to watching it was it had a lot of T & A.  I like me some T & A so that was a plus.  After watching 36 episodes of the trial and tribulations of Hank Moody, I am not sure if it is good thing.  If I am being compared to Hank because of his artistic, brutal honesty and determination to be himself that sometimes drive everyone he cares about up the wall then…. I suppose it is an honor.  If it is because Hank tends to completely alienate and hurt everyone around him because of his utter selfishness and disregard for the feelings of the people he loves, well that is not so hot.
