Aleks will probably get mad at me for embarrassing her, but I can’t contain how amazing she is.  It is just a matter of time till the world is buying her CDs and lining up to get in her concerts.  And even more amazing then this?  She loves me and emails me stuff like this.

After I began working at RAMP creative, one of the other intern name Tsz needed help with a freelance job. She was working with a friend who had recently moved to Australia, which caused difficulties being productive and meeting deadlines.

I stepped in and helped bring Tsz design to the web using a variety of technologies.  After a few round of edits I am happy to see the results.

After a nightmare month of problems with 24″ iMac that I bought when I first started to get my Graphic Design degree, circa October 2008. I am getting a new 27″ iMac, and the best part?  Its free :-)

How? It started March 2009 when I had a logic board go out which was replaced, it was about a 2 day turn around.  From that point till about beginning of last month (July, 2010), the iMac ran flawlessly.  Then one day while I was converting some .avi video files too work in iTunes, the computer froze and screen scrambled and looked like digital mosiac tiling.  Ok no big deal, I figured it was the logic board and would take a one or two days to fix.  Turns out it was the logic board and video card and they needed to special order it so a week long wait. After I got the computer back from the store it broke again doing something similar, I thought they would figure out that it must be something else malfunctioning causing the logic board and video card to fail. They diagnosed again that it was just the Logic Board and Video card, but when I picked it up they had replaced the power supply, hard drive, logic board and video card.  Essentially making this unit brand new except for the screen.

Good Customer Service Rep should live by one motto “the customer is always right”, but at AT&T apparently their motto is “the corporation is always right.” At this point I just can’t stand AT&T; I don’t even think the iPhone will be able to keep me as an AT&T customer anymore. AT&T clearly does not care nor do they even like their customers, they want customers to shut up with the complaints and pay them.  Do they care that the phone doesn’t work in multiple spots all over Santa Clarita? Do they even care if a customer has a working phone? Do they offer any apology or compensation?  Nope & Nope & Nope.

Whether it is their inflexibility in moving just 18 days on an upgrade discount when I had lost my phone, then turning around and charging me $40 restocking fee when I brought it back after the 18 days to get the discount I should have gotten in the first place. To their extremely lethargic and careless employees especially at their Valencia (Santa Clarita) store, in particular a guy name Eugene who is out and out hostile towards customers, This Eugene guy has never done anything for me when I have went in to the Valencia store, in fact he has been rude, demining, and argumentative and this time it was more of the same.
